What is a horse rug chest expander used for?
It creates additional room around the chest fastening of a compatible rug, which can be useful for horses with a broader chest.
Will it fit every horse rug?
Compatibility depends on the rug fastening and clip design. Check the existing rug fastenings before use and make sure the extender attaches securely.
How should the rug fit after adding the expander?
The rug should sit securely without pulling tightly across the chest or becoming excessively loose. Check fit and movement before leaving the horse unattended.
